Your profile can also include skills you enjoy using and the type of company culture you thrive in. Make sure some of those elements match the description of the job for which you are applying.

Your answer can be more convincing if you reflect on why you found these types of activities rewarding in the past, and how your skill set matches the type of job you’re after. Be ready to share some examples of how you have enjoyed utilizing those skills in the past. Focus on the Present and the Future: Another way to answer the question is to mention a certain goal you would like to reach through your “dream job.”

Self-evaluation It is important for you to think well about yourself and your past experiences.

Before the Interview – Research the Company: – Know well about company policies and culture.

During the Interview: First impressions – First impressions take only thirty seconds. Establishing rapport, direct and sustained eye contact, a firm handshake, a warm smile, good posture, and introducing yourself in a confident manner are important ingredients.

Smile – A smile denotes confidence in a candidate.

Body Language – Use good posture, and look the interviewer right in the eye. Sit up straight. Never slouch.

Speak Clearly – Don’t mumble. It portrays a lack of confidence. Speak with assurance. This indicates confidence.  Listen Before Answering – Allow the employer to begin the interview, but be prepared with some opening statements or questions such as, “I understand that this position involves.

Give Brief Answers – Make your answer concise and to the point. Rambling tends to suggest that you really don’t have the answer to the question(s) asked. Previous Employers – Never, ever say anything negative about your present or previous employers. No matter how much you may have disliked someone, find a way to give your experiences a positive spin.

1b4c4c6399279dd519fc809e98a49460Many of us have heard of what are called “limiting beliefs”.  These are beliefs about ourselves that are programmed and have been there most of our lives.  They’re often REMARKS that someone made many years ago that stuck and we accepted them as fact.  Here are an excellent examples of limiting beliefs.

In the beginning Baby elephants are always tethered to a strong rope which in turn is tied to a stake in the ground. Try as much, the baby elephant is unable to free itself as the rope as well as the stake are stronger than its strength. After numerous tries, the baby elephant abandons its attempt to be free and accepts the leash as part of life. A new belief has been installed in it that it cannot break free from the rope. Years pass and the baby elephant has now transformed into a full fledged adult elephant with enormous strength. However, the limiting belief still exists in its mind. So, even though it can now easily break the rope because of its huge strength, it does not do so, because it “thinks” that the rope is stronger than itself. In fact, there are stories where, a circus tent caught fire and elephants burned to death because they would not run in spite of the fire because they “thought” that they could not break the rope.

Are you too programming your child’s mind with these limiting beliefs? like: “Why did you only get a B when you could have got an A?” or “Your sister can figure it out, why can’t you?” or “Why would you want to do that?  You’ll never make any money”.  When parents say such comments their intention is to motivate their children to do better; to strive for something higher. But Do children see it that way?  No not really! What they hear is “You don’t measure up” or “You’ll never amount to anything” or “Nothing you do impresses me”. Those words become part of lasting effect of the comments and limiting beliefs. We all have triggers, and people close to us can easily activate those triggers with their words or actions that might remind us of a criticism we heard repeatedly when we were growing up. Hence dear Parents ALWAYS WATCH YOUR WORDS – empower your children with these powerful REIKI and affirmations.
